What is it about?
Over the 7 weeks we will go through various topics related to starting a business from a winning mindset to validating a business idea, launching your MVP to fundraising.
This is a course where I share real life experiences, tools and resources and respond to any questions that any of the candidates have over the 7 weeks.
What can I learn?
Upon “graduating” from the course, you will have learned all that you need to learn to put your idea into execution, what it takes to be an entrepreneur and how to sustain and thrive in the journey, overcoming fears and most important, you will have built relationships with a group of like-minded women on their own journey to achieving their dreams.

I have stumbled upon FForce course on instagram and the title “Women Entrepreneurship” directly caught my attention. In a society where women are still struggling in the business world and since I have my own difficulties as an entrepreneur, I was very keen to see how other women are handling their businesses and I wanted to be part of a community of other women that are in the same boat.
The FForce course gives you exactly this and more. It is designed in a way that is not too technical but at the same time it fills you with all the knowledge and tools that you need to start your business, and most importantly grow it with the confidence and support that you need!
Ghizlan has definitely broadened my horizons, enriched my mind and gave me new perspectives to think about. If I have to give one word for this course, I would definitely say “Inspiring”.

First of all, I think that what impressed me the most was your pedagogy and your way of communicating, everything was very clear and understandable. My favorite classes were Marketing, Finance and the last one, on the importance of developing a support system, because those were the subjects where I needed the most help. FForce Business Guide Course is a well designed online course and the knowledge and skills learned can not only be applied in everyday life, but in your journey to entrepreneurship. The sessions are presented in a way that is relatable, easy to grasp and engaging. We’re only half way through the course and I still have the same excitement tuning into each new session! Though I’m unable to join the live sessions due to the time difference, I don’t feel like I’m missing out as the sessions are conveniently recorded. I’m glad to be part of a community of inspiring women who are on the same path to learn and grow with, and I’m grateful for the access to great resources and an amazing mentor like Ghizlan.
I wanted to learn more about entrepreneurship so I took the FFORCE course which was the perfect course, especially when it comes to women in this field. With 7 modules, all the aspects of building a successful business are covered in a very realistic way. Ghizlan with her experience took us through the important aspects of launching a start-up which helped me gain knowledge but most importantly I now have the confidence to reach out to potential investors to start my own business.

Thinking of becoming an entrepreneur? Let me break it to you.
In this module:
- You will hear my story, from my very humble career beginnings as a sales person in a beauty store to building a global business and launching two other startups thereafter. I’ll share the trials and tribulations, embarrassing stories, mistakes, wins and the real behind the scenes of it all.
- We will dive into the fundamentals and essentials that every entrepreneur needs to embark on this journey, sustain the demands of a startup and succeed.
- You will learn how to work through and overcome limiting beliefs and the importance of that in business and life.
- You will have a better understanding of yourself, your strengths and how to best utilize them to succeed as an entrepreneur.
Module 2
Sustaining pressure as an entrepreneur (Pass me the lavender spray and crystals!!)
In this module:
- We will break down the source of pressures on an entrepreneur, especially female entrepreneurs.
- We will unpack the FForce Toolkit that will enable you to discover real and effective tools to help you create a sustainable lifestyle despite the demands.
- Learn how to build healthy habits that will increase your productivity, ground you and enable you to find drive and energy on the journey to fulfill your dream.
Module 3
From the abstract to the real: Idea to execution (Let’s walk the walk!)
In this module:
- You will learn the most important elements of a good business idea: What makes the customer tick, what increases the odds to success.
- Write a business plan, add skin to the bone and move your thesis to an executable MVP, oh, and we’ll talk about MVPs too.
- Let’s spill the dirt: what’s the biggest mistake that entrepreneurs make at right about this stage! Here we’ll speak about the roadblocks and overcoming them.
Module 4
Raising Capital (Bring me the money honey!)
In this module:
- To bootstrap or not to bootstrap, that is the question.
- Learn about the various types of ways to access capital, investor types, stages of fundraising and where to begin.
- From the elevator to the boardroom: Let’s get that pitch right! Learn how to pitch to investors, build a solid pitch deck and seal the deal.
- What you must know about the world of investment and fundraising: Founders’ mistakes, legal matters, conflicts, and all that jazz!
Module 5
What’s your story? Build a lasting brand and put it out there!
In this module:
- You will learn how to build a lasting brand, cut through the noise and make it standout.
- A case study on the power of authenticity, purpose and community in a business: The Modist. We will dissect how I was able to build a global brand that was featured in hundreds of publications including Vogue, Forbes, The FT and Fast Company, and how we built a community that was so strong that it was a big part of its success.
- Marketing 101: marketing to your customer, what works, what doesn’t…let’s navigate this space.
Module 6
Talent, people management and leadership (Show me what you got!)
In this module:
- How to build a culture where a team thrives
- People management: you’re in for a ride. How to attract, retain and manage talent
- The leadership qualities that are paramount to a startup success.
Module 7
Business guidance and support ecosystem (Show me the way)
In this module:
- The importance of developing a support system
- Do you need a Board on board? The Do’s and Don’ts.
- Who to turn to for advice when you’re the captain of your own ship? The role of advisory boards, mentors, fellow startup founders.
